Accessibility Statement

Accessibility level

The site was built with the aim of meeting the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

Adjustments made

• Semantic, hierarchical page and heading structure for screen-reader navigation.
• Full keyboard navigation and operation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
• Alternative text describing every artwork, photograph and mock-up.
• Poems and exhibition texts are provided as real text, not as images.
• High colour contrast between text and background.
• Responsive layout for phones and tablets, with support for text zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
• Page language and reading direction are set on every page, in Hebrew and English.
• Buttons and controls include text labels and selection states.
• No flashing, auto-rotating or auto-playing content.

Compatibility

The site is designed for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on desktop, tablet and phone (iOS and Android), and for use with the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers.

Limitations

Artworks are visual by nature. Each work has a text description, but some visual detail may not be fully conveyed.

The framed gallery mock-ups are illustrations only. External links, such as the architecture website and social networks, are outside our accessibility responsibility.

If you find an element that is not accessible, please contact us and we will provide the information or service in an alternative way, by phone or email.
